A full show?!

TJPW (Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling) is a joshi puroresu company in Japan. It is a sister company of DDT, also in the same CyberFight family as Pro Wrestling Noah. Every January 4th, they run a show in the morning before the big NJPW Tokyo Dome show which is considered one of their biggest shows of the year. This is that show. This is Johnny's first time watching TJPW. This is not James' first time. HAPPY HAPPY!

investigate_311

I very much watched this. I watched this very much.

WeeZee

I am watching this!

SleepySheepy

I watched this and I'm mad. I was told there was Bee and Cat based offense and I got none of that

The preceding podcast was brought to you by Richard J. Sandwich

I AM CURRENTLY WATCHING RESPECTFULLY! also this is my first exposure to TJPW! The only joshi wrestling ive ever gotten into was Stardom, and that has only been in the last 2 years. So far, this is a really cool show! Can uhhhh yall two just commentate ALL of the wrestling that i like?? UPDATE: The Kaiju toys spot has completely sold me on the whole promotion

Evilzombieeater

I didn't appreciate some of Jerrys comments but I enjoyed Watching This anyway

Suwamagical

I Watched This! and it was good and cool

Michael Robinson

I was gonna go watch this on my own but I’m definitely watching now with my favorite boys. 😭😭😭I wish my boy tony was here tho. Throw it up for the pizza man 👉🏼😭

nLDalton

Hope to see lots more Joshi shows on the Patreon. That’s awesome

Justin Stein

I watched this live that night, and then had to rewatch it with your guys' commentary. Hopefully there's more joshi content on here in the future, as I feel more people will get into it if they are introduced. Especially when it's as goofy as TJPW can be.

Dang Ol Boomhauer

Is DPW gonna have a “the first to untie the tangled rope wins” match?

Crimbo

The boys freebooting TJPW for us? I watched this!

LargeLars

This was my first time watching any joshi and I am glad to say that I..... Watched This

CMRazor3

I watched this and now Sakisama got me feeling kinda DIFFERENT

Skullbeard

I am in the process of watching this...

Doing CZW spots on Tony's deck

Part of me feels like James sorta undersold how big of a deal it is being a married Joshi, but I guess it's a matter of not wanting to overwhelm Jawnny with info.

TJ Livoti

This was my first TJPW show in full and I absolutely loved it! Signed up for DDT Universe right after this.

Daniel Cassell

The slipping on the tray spot made me pop huge. Loved the tjpw show

The7wags

Hoping this leads to more Joshi wrestling on deadlock (ice ribbon would be great). Either way glad I always Watch This.

Colt

joshi boys?!

Ian Himself

This was super good to see.

I lost my Booty virginity at Bootikan to Baba Hauh

It's cute, James does the same thing I do, where we make excuses for things going wrong with things we are very much in love with - example: The rope not being untangled before the match, James was (jokingly of course) trying to cover for it. I do the same thing

BigJ

Wait. Aja Kong's theme is Judas fucking Priest? That's fucking awesome.

TreeFood(Jake)

I remember watching this event live, I hadn't realized jawnny and James did a watch this for it. Glad they did tho :)

JackRyanForPope

So, let's come back to this video every few months and count all the wrestlers on this card that have worked DPW. So far it's just been Mizuki and Miyu Yamashita, but I get the feeling that number will grow.
