Important context for the $2.5 million price tag for WCW: What isn’t often included in the sale price is the fact that WWE took on all liabilities that WCW still had on its books, which included guaranteed salaries for a number of talents (Hogan, Sting, Hart, Goldberg, Hall, and Nash being the most prominent) and debts owed to vendors, distributors, etc. Basically, WWE paid $2.5 million to take on like $40-$60 million in liabilities, so it was far more expensive than the reporting tends to suggest.

Thanks for keeping the shout-out at the beginning David 🥹

I'm thinking about other wwe matches I think technically were lights out matches. Gargano vs Ciampa I think they called it unsactioned but I remember them turning off the lights before it. The only other one that comes to mind was bray "fiend" wyatt vs Seth Rollins hell in a cell it was in red light but I don't think that counts. (Hate that match BTW worst hitc match ever....)

Kane should have definitely held all three titles at this time. He was extremely over, and he deserved it. What can ya do though 🤷‍♂️
