Pure riffs, no plot: that's the Balthasar Speedboat promise. And for this week's bonus episode, we have comedians Naomi Higgins (@nomstrositi) and Emily Woods on the show. It's a pleasant sojourn into the deeply sexual world of the sport of curling--and much more! hope you enjoy.

Oh Canada. The country that has been blessed by a deranged neighbor so any comparison between the two will look favorably , even when they actually do the same stuff.

Riley just doing a blind piss taste test on a German game show.

Slowly learning that most of what was in the Simpsons Australian episode was actually true.

"I moved to the UK, it's awful here." Ah, she must have been taken by surprise by this. "This is my second time living here, and it was awful then too." Ah.

Hopefully you get a Quebecer on some day. I've never heard a Quebecer on your podcasts about Canada, it would be hilarious.

Imagining a British guy who's really into an NFL team- is that how you feel when there's an American who's really really into Arsenal FC? I know a few of those guys. Never know what they're talking about

I play magic the gathering with a guy who drives a zamboni for the local hockey rink and i cant wait to tell him about this extended bit

For those of you playing Balthasar Speedboat Bingo at home, this one has (1) an Australian who doesn't know about sports played in other Australian states, cf. Aidan Jones, (2) Milo ranting about UK fans of the NFL (the center square of your bingo sheet) and (3) Riley trying to guide the opening of the show before remembering it's Balthasar Speedboat.

I hope you guys saw my Tweets. @CapitolHunters just did a massive expose citing scanned court documents from lawsuits that prove Elon Musk lied about his degrees. He's been sued twice over it and even de facto admitted to it in court. Stanford officially stated in court they have no records of someone with that name. And 3 months ago Twitter subpoena Stanford in their court case to force him to buy it.

Moving from America to Britain, I pronounced peugeot as "Poo-Gee-Oh" for the first few years. And "SEAT" will always be "seat" not "Say-Ott"

I don't remember what's the cutoff date Riley quoted as the time the UK stopped exporting its culture but I'm pretty sure it leaves out Doctor Who, Sherlock the BBC show, and Harry Potter

We say g’day a lot in Queensland actually

The American fans hearing the phrase "if you know someone who works in Ice" and having the Metal Gear alarm noise go off

Daniel Berryman

'G'day' is very much in normal usage, maybe she means it's not said in the inner-urban areas as much or maybe she lives in an anomaly sphere
