For this month's second Britainology, we present a live recording of our show at Comedy Republic in Melbourne, Australia on November 19, 2022. We discuss the crimes that got people sent to Australia, the crimes they committed while there, and the postwar phenomenon of the 'ten pound poms.' Hope you enjoy!

I can't be the only listener who lives in or near Chorlton-cum-Hardy? Usually referred to as Chorlton (without the embarrassing bit). Home of Cosgrove Hall Films (Chorlton and the Wheelies, Dangermouse, The BFG, etc) and is the motherlode of quinoa in South Manchester. The Bee Gees were actually born on the Isle of Man and moved to Chorlton as kids (35 Keppel Road iirc - they owned the house for many years and were local landlords into the mid-2000's at the least - although didn't invent an app to be a landlord on. Their days of innovation were behind them at that point - and most of them died as well)

I'm now starting to understand why Ned Kelly is considered as this rebellious icon. Dudes rock.
