This isn't too different from the original version of the map, but I classed it up a bit for a slightly more civilized crew. The spikes are gone, the worgs were replaced with elephants and the beds are about 70% less filthy.

So, it's time to start working on the next megaproject: the pit. I still don't have an official name for it, partly because it's been hard to come up with a name that doesn't accidentally sound filthy. This is particularly true when words like "hole" or "shaft" are involved. I wish I was kidding.

Anyway, I'll be starting with the village built in and around the top of the pit, then working my way down from there. The village will probably be about 3-4 floors including the mines, so it's a fairly big chunk of the map. I'll post a work-in-progress pic once I've got the drawings done. Until then!

Love these! Also, I had a thought about the name of "the pit". Have you thought of something shelter-like, like Windrest, for example?

Thanks! Might be a little too friendly for this place. I'm thinking of something like "The Stygian City." Which won't be what the locals call it, but I need a name for the project.

The saying "You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" comes to mind ;)

These are great. I'm excited to incorporate this idea into game travel.
