Two announcements today, and yes, one of them involves rope.

TLDR:

New update: Leora the Witch gets a brand-new Shibari scene

A few juicy previews below to give you a taste of what Leora has in store...

Play through the latest build and leave some feedback on our timing improvements for a few sections or simply jump directly into the "Leora Episode" from Main Menu!KNOWN ISSUES:

Uncensoring via Patreon Linking currently slightly bugged. Simply go Settings/Gameplay and use the Patreon Button. Toggle the Button to "Off". If you dont see any changes, simply restart the game.

Accessing the new scene is easy: leave Leora's Witch Hut, then immediately come crawling back. She's expecting you.

The LewdLauncher brings a Steam-style update experience to the game. Thanks to chunked updates, you only download what changed between versions instead of the full 12–17GB build. A few minutes instead of a few hours, and you're back in.

TACOS REFACTORING ADVENTURE ...

Once there was a Sandbox Programmer, who really really loved working on his craft. He had a proposal for his bearded boss:

"Lets FIX EVERYTHING!!!"

Things got slightly out of hand ...

In the end we finally did it. But it took us (Together!) 5 Months to complete the refactor. The sandbox is now completely crafted out of gold and nothing ever breaks (not).

Sorry for the delay, we just love what we´re doing so much we sometimes get absolutely lost in the sauce.

Taco learned that sometimes you have to take breaks and stop to look back and see if you completely went of course with a "little refactor".

Now we hope you jump into sandbox and find all the bugs so he can go back to sweating again!

when authenticating with patreon and the app, doesn't work. i click authenticathe with patreon, goes there, i click allow , i get the confirmation "Authentication complete!" but luncher not reading it. im using edge

Im not able to download the game and am getting Error 403 "No accessible version for your tier", even tho im in the Onii-san tier

Can you maybe join or ping Helltaker on the discord so we can play around a bit with perms? Its also our first time using the launcher and while testing seemed to have worked I am a bit worried I might have set something WRONG xD

I was able to get the uncensored version to work after a game restart.

yup, the launcher is borked, it doesn't pickup the authentication reply after the message from the browser to go back to the launcher, I tried it on Edge, Chrome and Firefox, the launcher just never gets the reply back from "http://127.0.0.1:29170/callback?code=****"

I would try it again, the issue I heard was that we have a fixed API limit with patreon so if we have a lot of people trying all at once, the "normal" api rate for patreon might not be enough to cover for all requests.

And as usual: Bug Report on discord 100% preffered so we can invite the launcher creator into the dialogue since they also still have a lot to learn from new users <3 Thanks!

I've been trying for the past 30 mins until I noticed there's a backup download so I'll use that instead :-P

Thats ok too, after all kinda expected that somethings would not work. That said I really want that Launcher to be our main platform for deployment since it will considerable decrease download size for all of you :)

restarted the game several times, still no luck on the censor. now when i click patreon check, nothing even happens anymore

getting a download waring from this since it not a certified source for the launcher itself

Its because the exe isnt certified by microsoft. This usually cost a bit and the money just isnt there for the developer of the launcher to get it certified yet. But we have been using it internally for testing for a while. Pretty sure our games exe has the same issue when its not distributed via Steam :3

Installer seems to work fine, it doesnt seem to detect existing installs of project melody and will still need to install through the installer however. It did grab the censored version of the game even though the account is linked to the patreon.

Ok to remove the censor check it seems to verify patreon via the gameplay settings, select the patreon box and give it a minute to open up a verification that you have to accept, then it can be toggled on or off after. Keep the browser open with patreon logged in.

Found a work around, its probably something to do with the browser it opens up the check with. I took the link and moved it into my main browser (Opera GX) and it worked.

I fixed my problem, new version of the launcher was producing logs so i could narrow it to my windows credentials storage to be full... After clearing it, worked lol. I went deep in checking the call of the Auth, blocked ports, yada yada was something soo silly as that. After logging in, all worked dandy

thx for that, i thought there was some kinda bug going on with the lewd launcher thinking i was a diff tier so i got the censored version, now i can play uncensored
