[Background Blog] April Development Update (Patreon)

Hey patrons, 

Compymono here! This past month has been a bit quiet, but we’ve been steadily progressing! We’ve made a bunch of progress on the Astatos codebase refactoring, with only Hero Card abilities remaining to be updated. 

Unfortunately due to the illness of a team member, the release of Astatos Chapter II - Part V had to be delayed until mid-May, but at least it gives us further time for extra polish.

At this stage the majority of the character illustration is complete for the Next Minute MV! We’ll be working on the backgrounds next.

This month we hope to wrap up the refactoring work for Astatos, begin testing it, as well as make progress on some illustrations for Astatos Chapter III and Nekojishi L&P.

We’ve also put out a new background art post for higher tiers, featuring artwork from Astatos!
