Definitely one of my favorites of 2025. Great story, cast, OST, etc. Bittersweet endings or worse...that's the downside of C-dramas. You never know if your favorite character will survive. Now the dramas are a little shorter (40 eps or shorter) but before you would be watching the story develop over 50 to 60 eps and then a tragic ending would happen.

If I watched a show that was 50 or 60 episodes and it had a tragic ending I might just be depressed for a bit lol. I agree bittersweet endings are not always the best but sometimes they feel necessary and make sense. Prisoner of Beauty is a great example of that!
