The Prime minister has to be the stupidest villain i have seen in a while. It would have been better if he did all this for power. What do you mean you throw your whole life, reputation just for a woman you never confessed to,who had no idea you were into her. So stupid, man had a whole decade what did he think was going to happen. He knew since back then I-an liked her and he even told you before they got married that he likes her. Did he actually think he wasn’t going to have her since they are married and queen mother I’m glad of your redemption, choosing to be a mother. I think the show could have been better if it was 16 episodes. I liked but will i watch it again? Probably not, i think the could have done better with the plot. I still enjoyed a lot. What can i said? I’m a sucker for aesthetic and pretty people.😂😂😂

Thank you for your reactions and for giving me the opportunity to watch along with you as it airs! It wasn't available in my country at the start and was only added very recently. 🙏🤗 My thoughts on the show are a little mixed. Overall, I liked it. The story was interesting, dynamic, and dramatic enough to make me want to keep watching, and the actors did a wonderful job portraying their characters. The music fit the show's theme perfectly, adding to the whole atmosphere, and the aesthetic was dreamlike—often giving me the vibe of a Disney princess story, which in the end, I think this show actually was! Even if they decided to abolish the monarchy in the end and live their lives normally. I particularly loved that I could laugh, cry, and swear with (or at!) the characters, and I even managed to spin a few theories here and there.😉 But would I rewatch it? My answer is—I’m not sure, really. 🙅‍♀️ The reason mostly lies in the flaws of the show and perhaps the story being a bit too fairytale-like for my taste. The biggest flaw of all, for me, was that some parts felt incomplete or rushed, leaving me "partly-fed". I had a feeling that some of the characters were missing important backstory pieces to explain why they were the way they were and why they made the choices they did. However, some characters were written very well. I am not sure how it usually works with these shows—whether every character has their own writer (as is often the case in video games) or if there was one specific group for everyone who chose to develop some characters better than others? 🤔 Either way, I think I would rate this show a 7.5 maximum, mostly because of the flaws I've mentioned. P.S. Also, I should add that I cannot compare the actors' work or their professional growth with their previous roles, because I didn't know any of them before this drama!😂I am such a newbie in the K-drama world. Before this, I had completed only "Marry My Husband" (which I am actually suggesting in your K-drama nominations!), and now I am watching a 2020 drama, "Mr. Queen", and another K-drama that started airing last week, "My Royal Nemesis".

Great points per usual! I am glad you could watch the show through the reactions! I always do my thoughts immediately after watching the show so my opinions can be a little jaded depending on how that episode ended. After some sleep and thinking of it I had decided to rate it as a 7.7, but my original rating was already in the video so what can you do hahaha. I hope you are able to check a few more kdramas out! There is some fantastic stuff out there!

I liked it. I dont think it was worthy of a 9 or 10, but it was overall a good watch that i got some enjoyment out of. I think id give it an 8. I know this will get me strung up in kdrama circles, but Ive dropped every single IU drama I tried to watch except this one. And Ive tried most of them.
