And I am quite sure Huayong has listened in on his brother's words about Xihe being his dead wife. And I think he might have believed them, and that's why he so casually mentioned that the northwest rarely has rain and told her to be careful about what she says when around others. Like reassuring her that he knows, but she doesn't have to worry he would expose her in any way. Loved the tour he arranged for Xihe's brother to win him over...
