Not going to lie. I was cringing at you reacting to the mom. lol I actually gave her more grace than most. She was a single mom. She never abused her daughter. She did abandon her. But we all have seen worse moms in Cdramas/Kdramas.

Fair enough. Everyone has their own opinion. I just react as honestly as I can to what is presented to me. There are definitely much worse moms in Cdrama land, but that does not make her a good mom or someone we should excuse by any stretch. A mom who constantly neglected and abandoned her daughter, and tried interjecting herself into her daughter’s life years later is cringe to me. Her only moment as a real mother was her taking her daughter out of her Auntie’s house (mind you she put her own daughter there in the first place). As someone who has seen successful single parenting and how tough that was I just can’t let this slide. In my opinion she deserves all the ridicule and hate I gave her. 🗿
