Irena Kukule

I really like that the leads are not some overpowered beasts and they have to deal with A LOT of struggles and hardships. Their only real weapon so far is their wit, and at least both of them have it in some measure. Also, I kind of like that they can complement each other with the skills the other lacks. Ling has a lot of survival skills and knows how to live on a street. She, however, has knowledge of noble etiquette and I bet, also, diplomacy, which can help a lot in their bargains with the Envoy and maybe other officials if/when they meet them. And both can learn from each other, which would only make their relationship and growth very satisfying to watch. I bet Ling would never have been able to tell who the Envoy is just by watching at his ring. He really lacks that knowledge. Also, I didn't mention it in the comment for the previous episode, but that man with the beard who's with the Imperial Envoy was introduced as Master Zhao in the previous episode. So that can only raise the question — could he be related to Ling in some way, or maybe they are unrelated and that was the guy from the capital Ling tried to pretend to be in the first episode?

BANNO

Hm interesting point about Master Zhao! Currently I would doubt it but we do not know enough about Zhou Ling to say, but that would honestly be pretty cool if they were connected! I like your points on how they have their own strengths and weaknesses! You can definitely see it come into play! They will need each others expertise to navigate the perils that come their way! This will definitely cause them to respect one another sooner rather than later imo!

Pretty Doll

Tingyun my dear, i know you were raised and pampered as a noble lady but let be aware of our surroundings now. Let’s adapt, and not poking our noses in other people businesses. We can’t even save ourselves right now.
