I agree with everything you said. Madam Yu will definitely make Yake's life hell knowing that she lost Tingyun as a daughter-in-law, the Crown Prince's reward for help in the investigation, and possible favour/help for her son in the future — all because of Yake. And Yake just keeps selling her father's invaluable books for appearances... She's digging her own grave. And I particularly enjoy watching how nothing can corrupt Ling in any way — he's so honest and kind to everyone who deserves it. He doesn't hold grudges, really, as far as I have noticed, and he cares a lot. I don't think we often see a ML like this. Usually, they are warriors, fallen nobles and stuff like that, wanting to avenge something. Ling is so much different.

Zhao is better than me. What i hate the most is close friends and siblings betrayal. He would have been exiled. Tingyun is so right, just cause i was born a noble doesn’t give her the right to ruin her life and almost got her killed. Yake your mother-in-law is coming for you.😂
