I have to explain this to you (35:25): "The empress has returned". The correct translation of this script should be: "Concubine Xi has returned to the palace". "Concubine Xi" refers to Zhen Huan, the lead character of "Empresses in the Palace" (the Legend of Zhen Huan). I used to tell you that that show is extremely influential in China - this is proof. :-) If it were not the set of 4A advertising agency (it's said the agency is, in reality, Ogilvy in Beijing), the show would look very real. However, in reality, straight men are rarer than pandas in large advertising companies, and the story of a domineering boss falling in love with a female subordinate in the drama is almost impossible. Not to mention the subsequent storyline involving harassing female employees; in advertising companies, most male and female employees are practically sisters. LOL...
