The Lament Autumn is a historical drama set in the republican era and it's going to be amazing. The trailer and behind-the-scenes footage are great, it promises a lot.

I am a bit busy with university and just slowly clearing up all the stuff I have started, so I probably will skip them atm as I don't want to start anything new yet. But I plan to watch both of them eventually.

This may be the best for Cdramas in 2026. Where the Mask Ends, The Lament of Autumn, Tiger Sniffs the Rose, Love in Red Dust, etc.! We are getting spoiled, but sadly my time is limited ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Frankly, I have little expectation of either of them. I would choose Where the Mask Ends if I had to watch one. Still, I think you should probably pick up Against the Current, which I consider the best of 2026.

To pick between the two Iโ€™d say where the mask ends. However I second all the comments who say โ€œAgainst the Currentโ€ is probably a better bet to watch.

Iโ€™d recommend watching "Against the Current" first, then waiting until the other two are over before deciding which one to watch next. I donโ€™t think there are many major shows left this year anyway

Iโ€™ve been really excited for Where the Mask Ends! Waiting almost all year now. I canโ€™t remember many C-dramas where one actor plays two completely different characters, rather than a character whose personality changes after a dramatic event. I also agree with the comments recommending Against the Currentsโ€”I have a feeling youโ€™d enjoy that one too!
