(Quest Suggestions) SongsTress Quest Episode 28 - Sugar, Baby~ (Patreon)

The Story So Far...

It's an emergency, it's a crisis! What do you do? Why, what you always do: Perform!

… Which is, admittedly, a little difficult right now, what with being stuck on the wall. But hey, you've sung in worse venues. You're the Desire of singing and dancing, right? Even if you can't do one, the other is still just fine!

"Baby, baby, you got class!Fly right up and kick her ass!Save me from this awful critic!Make your dust all paralytic!"

...Okay, not your best work, and that was a bit more cheerleadery than usual, but you're dealing with a lot at the moment! And- And it worked, anyway. You can see your fairy's wings glow, charging up with a touch of extra power.

Painter rolls her eyes as she squares off against her opponent. "You know if you'd just get out of the way I could shut her up."

Your fashion fairy sighs and shakes her head. "Zat vill not be happening."

"Tch." Painter spins her brush. "Okay, well, that was your one chance for me to go easy on you. You'd better believe I'm telling the others about that stupid accent now - take this!"

The battle is on! Serenity vs Minion. Ordinarily this shouldn't be too much of a challenge - Serenities tear through minions all the time, and it's not like your fashion fairy has any backup. But this time you're lending your direct support to your lone champion, hyping her up! And also, weirdly, she seems to know more than you'd expect about how to fight a Serenity.

The two clash - Painter's brush swinging down, paint splattering all around, only for fairy's wing to intercept and parry the blow away. The Serenity is left staggered, surprised by your minion's speed and strength! Your cheer plan is working!

But your fairy's attempts to capitalize on her opportunity go awry as well, as she throws her wings open wide, unleashing a small storm of paralytic fairy dust in Painter's face - only for the sketchy Serenity to conjure a quick mask over her mouth and nose, blocking the attack completely.

So annoying when she does something like that.

The two reset, both preparing for their next attacks. It's clear they're pretty evenly matched now. The patterns shift on fairy's wings, while Painter spins her brush, refilling its painting potency with her power. So long as another Serenity doesn't show up, you should be relatively safe. But what will you try next, SongsTress? After all, it's up to the star of the show to determine how this will end...
