(Quest Suggestions) SongsTress Quest Episode 31: Strutting like a Killer Queen (Patreon)

Power crackles through you, filling your lungs and warming your vocal chords. Your voice grows sweeter, harder to resist. Even your regular speech has an undercurrent of charm now. You've reached Curse of Verse level 3!

And, well, this was a fun break - oh, it was very fun to put that critic in her place - but now it's time to get back to work.

"Okay, Maid, clean up this mess," you say, turning on your heel and snapping you fingers. "I want this entire stadium sparkling by the time I'm done with my big show. And if there's so much as a lick of paint left on any of my cameras, you won't be getting any signed merch afterwards!"

"Sacre bleu!" Your maid gasps in horror, immediately drawing her duster and getting to work tidying up the corridor. With a sweep of feathers,

"Fairy, get a few more costumes ready. There's still some Serenity pests lurking about, and we'll need to be ready for them."

"Az you vish, Miztrezz." She bows, before fluttering away.

Right. Minions sorted. Time to get back to the reason you got into this business - the music! With a sway and a strut, you make your way back to the stage.

You reflect in the brief moment you're riding the elevator back to the stage. Things are going well. They're going great! You've taken down two of the five Serenity Artists, and your concert is rolling ahead in full force. But something has been bothering you. Something obvious. Something you thought wouldn't be a big deal because it felt like you'd already won.

Where the heck is Serenity Scribe?

This should be an easy question, even if you lost her for a moment. You blasted her pretty bad with the vapid bimbo beat. She was practically blonde last time you saw her - she shouldn't be difficult to find now. But somehow she's evaded your cameras, avoided your fans, and made a fool of your security.

Something's wrong here. But what?

You're stumped. But that just means you have to search harder. And you know what always gives you the energy you need for any task.

"Did you miss me!?"

The fans roar with delight as you spin back out onto the stage. Ah, the spotlight. The screams. The adulation! This is what you exist for!

"Intermission's over, everyone! Here's a brand new song, dedicated to a very special someone, that I like to call, 'I know you're out there and I'm going to find you'~"

Your power thrums through the building. You have dozens of minions at your beck and call. Your camera and security network isn't complete - there are plenty of gaps and corners that Scribe could be hiding in. What would the best way of finding her be...?

(That's up to you, Desire Deviants! Your mission is to find the missing Serenity Scribe, but she's not on any of your cameras - you're going to have to get a bit more creative. But you have minions, you have moxie, and most importantly, you have the music! What will you do?
