In this video, we react to Season 1: Episode 8 of The Last of Us, "When We Are in Need".

Stalkers and Clickers, and Bloaters, oh my! Join Bradam on their journey as we head west alongside Joel and Ellie through the post-apocalyptic, zombie-ridden world of 'The Last of Us." 🍄

We're a bit late, but finally jumping on 'The Last of Us' bandwagon! We're excited to finish the first season and start the second with everyone when it premieres on Sunday, April 13.

"The Last of Us", based on the hit video game with the same title, follows Joel- a hardened survivor- as he's tasked with escorting Ellie, a seemingly immune 14-year-old, through a post-apocalyptic United States ravaged by a fungal pandemic that turns humans into aggressive, zombie-like creatures.

For the Penicillin ideally you would get it into a vein, any vein, because you want it distributed by the blood stream. What Ellie did, just injecting it in the fat near the wound isn't *useless* it will have some effect, just not anywhere near as much as it would if administered properly.

Fun fact, the guy who plays James in the show is the voice/mocap actor for Joel in the game.

At least to me, this episode is the most terrifying but it’s also one of the best episodes of S1. Bella Ramsey’s acting is always top tier but in this episode they knocked it outta the park. It’s SO GROSS AND CREEPY when you realize Ellie was only able to grab that meat cleaver and ultimately obliterate David was because he was unzipping his pants after delivering one of the scariest lines I’ve ever heard.

“i know i wouldn’t survive an apocalypse because of how many times i’ve googled ‘how many tsp are in a tbsp’” i needed that big belly laugh today!

I put off watching this for a few days, because with all the terrible things and heartache and loss that comes with this show, this is the hardest episode to rewatch fr me. Powerful, but hard to watch. Bella did such an amazing job acting, trying to perform this would have scared me emotionally forever.

Ellie Autumn Gidney

For me I wouldn't survive because I can never remember the difference between the acronyms🤣😭

I am loving this series it’s my first watch too, Pedro and Bella are an incredible duo and each episode I am on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen. You guys saw it before me in this ep tho. I thought the Preacher might be a nice person but boy was I wrong! Go Ellie! She is amazing!!!

One of the most emotionally packed episodes of season 1

"i don't great vibes but I don't get violent vibes." OOOOOHHH boy. Also, Troy Baker!!!! this episode was by far the most true to the game, and it's all the more gut wrenching being a viewer instead of a participant. In the game, you get to sneak around and attack David as Ellie, and the gratification of what Ellie does to David made me as a player feel some sense of resolution. But being a viewer with no control over what happens, even though the scene and the outcome are almost word for word the same, is so so difficult, there's almost no gratification. All I can think about is how traumatizing that was for Ellie. One of the best adaptations of media to date (in my opinion).
