It's so funny watching your facial expressions when William is on screen. Would also love to see you guys watching the trailers! Season 1 trailer isn't super worth looking up but the other seasons trailers are absolutely fantastic. Especially season 3 lol. I wish you luck for season 2, might be a little brutal!

I think sometimes when you are gay and in the closet you do so much hiding or lying that it almost becomes second nature to you, and it becomes hard to understand yourself where the lie ends and the truth begins. It's sad because I think many are like Isak, as you will see he is probably one of the most warm and friendly guy there is, but caught in this web and not understanding himself or others around him. Long comment but anyway what a great reaction. :D

lol the reactions to william ... literally same. there's a moment at iben's party when isak says to eva, don't you know? and i think he's waiting for her to ask him if he's gay so he doesn't have to say it himself. and when she goes the other direction about him having feelings for her, he runs with it because he doesnt know how to say it himself. again, the acting in this show is amazing for such young unknown actors.

This was a great reaction, and if it's not too late I second watching the season 2 trailer before going into the season. Also, Isak's phone is so over the top, but it got the point across. After knowing this, I recommend going back and watching his "confession" from last episode.

Once you know the reveal of Isak being gay, when you rewatch the scene of Eva confronting him and he says "you really don't know why?" he was trying to come out to her in that moment. But isak saw that she clearly had no idea and she was like "is it because you like ME?" so he just went with it and built upon his lies. Just puts that whole scene into perspective and his acting choices were so good!!

What a great finale, still even after the xth rewatch! Eva’s quiet, calm confidence this episode feels so different to her (like she said) insecurity and desperation at the beginning of the season. So proud of her for speaking out (Jonas needed to hear that). And the way you both freaked out so much at the end made me smile! I’m so glad you guys like this show and got so into it too, looking forward to watching the rest with you!

Kinda bittersweet to already let go of Eva's pov since she back then was and still is so relatable to me. She's maybe not the most interesting character drama wise but the balance of confidence and insecurity is portrayed so well. Also this season has a soft spot for me because it warms my heart so much that she found her people after feeling so lonely in the first episodes. <3

Honestly, I was chocked when Adam said there would be gay porn on Isak's phone... how could you know that!? ok you were joking, but you were right! 😂🤩 And I agree, the actors are so talented, they are just teenagers but so very talented, the character Vilde is a person I really don't like in real life, so I was relieved to see the actor is very different, (in one of the bloopers-videos, not season 1 I think...) But they all are incredibly talented. I also noticed you clocked that for Scandinavians using English when they talk is like a way to say something but make it not too real, like they still hav almost not said it... yeah, sound weird but it's true, I think. WOW, I'm looking forward to next season, (even though season 3 is my very favourite....)💜

Well I think he was hoping Eva would say it for him so he wouldn’t have to. But ultimately he was not ready to do that in the moment, at least that’s how the scene feels acted out but that’s just my take 🤷‍♀️

You 2 were hilarious, dancing in your seats as the final Is🐍k reveal began. Through the season, you were great at absorbing the clues — & the misleading ambiguities too — as you both vacillated back & forth about Isak (gay or straight??? lying or truthful???). And when you do a 2nd (& 3rd & 4th & 5th) rewatch of each season, you pick up on so much more (like Tarjei’s/Isak’s facial expressions that betray his motives in various scenes). Still, consider me amazed!!!😯 that Adam guessed (even in jest) that there would be gay porn on Isak’s phone. In the last moments, did you catch that look of longing on the face of our charming, conniving “smol bean🫘” as he stared at Jonas? Poor Isak. The closet is a harmful place. That doesn’t *excuse Isak’s conduct toward Eva (& others), but it helps *explain how he could possibly come to think it was right to reach such awful choices.

It's so real, I've met that type of guy so many times. definitely was not given enough insight into jonas' character to feel any sort of attachment, vilde at least was given trials throughout the season that we thought made her character quite interesting and very real! like I loved truly learning who she was around these girls

I wish we would've been able to pick up on the dialect difference too because "talking funny" can feel so isolating, no matter if it's just an accent, or a speech impediment, etc. Her loneliness was felt through the screen, especially when she was trying to message noora and didn't want to mess it up

Yep. Think about the very first time we meet Isak, right in the opening moments of ep. 1. He slides a piece of paper between Eva & Jonas to prevent them from smooching. Then he gets himself invited to the cabin. Then he walks in on them when they’re fooling around. And so forth. In defense of our favorite little 😇angel-devil😈, though, he does convince Eva not to switch schools. “You got to fight back, girl.”

nah breakup sex is totally a thing. I remember noting the last time I'd had sex with someone I was with. We were "taking a break" but I think we both knew it wasnt a break... I remember thinking about other relationships and not remembering the last time and somehow it felt important that I remember this one and just like... wanting something nice because it felt so horrible... probably not healthy, but yeah, it's a thing.
