Bradam is very excited to begin "Arcane: League of Legends" 👩🏼‍🎤 We have never played the game before, however, there's no need! So if you haven't either, don't fret, you can join us.

Below the streets of the utopia of "Piltover", lies the oppressed people in the undercity of "Zaun". After being orphaned as children, sisters Vi & Powder find themselves swept up in ever-developing conflict, powerful technology, growing relationships and shattered bonds. 🌃

Tensions rise as inventors, vandals, politicians, and crime lords grow increasingly dissatisfied with the constraints of the devastated society. As heroes are born and villains are created, backstories are given to League of Legends characters in this animated steampunk-fantasy drama! 🌖

Think awesome animation, powerful relationships, dynamic fighting, and tight storytelling. Arcane only got two seasons, but with critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase- we know we're in for a treat. 💞

loving y'all's thoughtfulness and attention to detail, and am thrilled that y'all are picking up on jayce's nuances. to me he's probably the most subtly-written and realistically human character of the series!!! the interplay of his intellect, naivete, good intentions, ambition, selfishness, love, and ego all make his decisions so riveting to watch. glad y'all are having a great time with his arc!

“I thought she hated her!” Sure, but… they’re still sisters. No matter how much you hate your sibling,at the end of the day that bond has always and will always be there, basically no matter what. To me, it’s one of the few actual unconditional relationships in life. The sibling relationship in this show is one of my favourite parts. I love that it’s so much of the focus. (I’m pretty sure they were 11 and 15/16 at the start? So now they’re 18 and 22/23?)

I was like is "he talking about his behavior, personality? He seems fine to me?" But you're right! It's that HE DOES LOOKS SLIGHTLY HEALTHIER, you geniuses, you've solved this conundrum for me :D

29:30 LIKE, Jayce isn't wrong. I do stand by his opinion that Heimerdinger has let a lot of his responsibilities lapse. He's too committed to the past, he's lived too long away from the people that he talks a really a good game but soo many things have gone wrong despite him being the "leader" of the council. He has great speeches, great morals, a good philosophy, but none of it has helped the people or done anything to correct what's wrong with their society. He isn't doing anything, or planning anything, he is just wagging his finger at stuff saying "well in my long life, I've experienced blank enough to say that yes/no, you should/should not do this thing!". But ofc, Heimer is right that hextech needed more time to cook. But his need for all plans to take centuries to make a decision on something is not conducive to the society he lives in. He can't just assume a mostly human world will prosper when he wants to wait decades upon decades before doing something about any of the currently ongoing situations and playing the waiting game. What's the rush for him, he lives forever. Meanwhile entire generations will go by before he finally decides to act. Just another scenario of where once again, a compromise would just be the better solution here rather than the two opposite sides of the spectrum being at odds with each other

36:30 It's not a spoiler, and you may already know this, but this is the scientist from the first episodes of the show that was making the shimmer for Silco. He put the cat in the cage, last we saw of him was when Powder's bomb went off and blew up the factory, his lab underwater exploded. We see him alive in the present with bandages and seared skin now

not-so-fun parallel; Viktor not being able to keep up with his toy boat mirrors his present-day inability to keep up with his own (&Jayce's) engineering/inventions, due to both the limitations of his body (illness/humanity), as well as the pace of the arcane. the science/tech is evolving too fast for either him or Jayce to keep up with atp

i think the jayce/heimerdinger conflict really highlights the weaknesses of political ideology that is not grounded in lived experience. Heimerdinger can speak all the pretty words he wants to, but he's out of touch, and that speaks louder to common people. Ultimately we know Heimerdinger's concerns are founded, but 1. he has no answers, and even more condemning, 2. he displays no urgency to find answers or resolutions. it makes him seem, at best, jaded and disconnected from common struggles, and at worst, callous and apathetic toward them. it's not hard to paint him in a bad light. Jayce no longer has to defend his own ideology/actions, he just has to make Heimerdinger look worse than him.
