Remember the science teacher explained that the reason the virus in that snail spreads because it’s will to survive is not stronger than the parasite’s. I reckon that if the teacher is really infected then maybe it’s like a storytelling tool to say that he was a stronger will to survive than the virus for some reason we will learn about later
