A synthetic being finds the last unstoppable machine of humankind, once human itself, sitting motionless amid a reclaimed world, vines and rain wrapping its cold frame. Sent to destroy it but knowing she cannot win, the speaker delays the inevitable, sharing one final, quiet sunset before fulfilling her purpose.

[A4A] Time Flies [philosophical] [Existential] [Surreal]

A cryptic voice questions the listener’s grasp on time, reality, and identity, using the motion of flies as a metaphor for how time itself moves and loops. As the questions grow increasingly disorienting, the listener is drawn into a chilling uncertainty about whether they, or reality itself, have ever truly existed as they remember.

A manipulative factory owner visits their once-rebellious favorite worker. He is now a mind-controlled, obedient shell. She reminisces about breaking his will for profit and peace. When the worker briefly awakens from hypnosis, their resistance and humanity resurface, only for the owner to lull them back into deep, obedient submission once more.

In a world where coffee has vanished, a frantic kitsune storms into a café seeking the last traces of caffeine, and finds them in the listener. When charm turns to hypnosis and hunger, the kitsune’s obsession with coffee and desire entwine, luring her “little coffee bean” into a trance that ends with a deadly, intoxicating bite.
