For the final week of our Weather & Storms theme, we're turning the elements against our enemies and seeing just how dangerous the skies can become. 🌩️

• Item: Sheltering Umbrella - a magical umbrella that protects you from the weather and carries you through the wind (uncommon → very rare)

• Spell: Forked Lightning - my twist on the lightning bolt spell (level 4 evocation)

• NPC: Captain Veylor Blackwind - a flamboyant half-elf sky pirate captain with a taste for adventure, wagers, and theatrical declarations

• Encounter: Skyfall (APL 10) - A creature the size of a natural catastrophe is slowly approaching an unaware village

This week’s highlight goes to Skyfall, and honestly, not because it is the most complex or creative encounter I have ever made. But simply because I love the image in my head of the players looking up at the sky and realizing that an entire castle is about to fall on their heads. Sometimes, you don't need a complicated twist or elaborate mechanics. Sometimes, dropping a castle on them is just enough to get their attention. 😈

• Item: Hailstone Amulet - an amulet from icy exploding hailstones hanging from it (common → rare)

• Spell: Static Charge - move and fill yourself with static electricity to unload on your enemies (level 1 transmutation)
