Curtis is very open for his love of Rocky and not only that but also love for Hajime no Ippo which both revolve around boxing, so I've chosen 4 movies based on boxing for him this week; it's been a while since we've done a movie based on a sport as well so thought it be nice to throw one into this weeks rotation! :)

I remember the year it came out was SUPER competitive for oscars, The Aviator, Ray, sideways, Finding Neverland and then all of a sudden Warner Brothers dropped Million Dollar Baby into the mix and screened it onthe very last day. I talked to a friend who had just come from the screening and asked him how it was. It was super casual about and just said “its over. Its winning everything” I was like “the girl boxing movie??” And he said “oh yeah, picture, director, actress, supporting actor, everyone else shouldnt even spend the money on cab fare.”
