Gladiator Full Movie Reaction!

Emily Gray

The sequel is good too! The phrase at the beginning "What we do now echoes in eternity" is a plot point and the characters (minus those who died, obviously) come back and you learn a little more about Maximus' past and why he and Lucilla had that awkward exchange at the beginning on the battlefield before Cesar died. Marcus knew he had to kill Maximus because he knew that Maximus knew that Cesar was murdered and that Marcus was likely the killer. Marcus had Maximus' family killed out of spite because Maximus refused to serve him.

#1 hater, year two of the hater crusade continues. I am not entertained, surprised these boys are watching something with real masculinity in it. Does anyone think a chariot could run Chris over? PS These two are still shit.

Boris Kopp

This is peak Ridley Scott as director and Hans Zimmer for the soundtrack. So glad you liked it. It really was an amazing experience seeing it in theaters.
