While I’m busy porting the mod to the new version, I’d like to share some tips on how to play the mod more smoothly on the older version - specifically, how to avoid crashes and ensure the skin loads correctly. Here are a few suggestions:
1) Please do not use TLauncher (except legacy); it alters version files, which can cause the client to crash on older versions.
2) If the client crashes due to a Java-related error, I’ve attached a version file you can safely use. If any issues arise, please post your crash reports in the 🪲bugs-and-reports🐛 section in my discord.
3) If you’re having trouble with skins - and you’d rather not run around as a default "Steve" while using mods like this - let me introduce my tiny mod. It forces Minecraft to load the current skin repository, and it also allows you to set a custom skin locally. Once you enter a world, the mod creates a folder named skinsetter in the game's root directory containing a skins subfolder; simply place your PNG skin files there, naming them after your in-game username. You can also use the commands /skin [nickname] and /removeskin.
4) Finally, I’m attaching a new version with fixes for a few minor bugs: one where an animal inside an NPC's stomach would fall through the world within the stomach dimension, and another where the victim might be spat out at the spot where it was swallowed rather than next to the predator.
