🎂Happy Birthday to Me 祝我生日快樂🎂 (Patreon)

Yesterday was my birthday!
I’m really happy that so many people came to my birthday party this year and spent my birthday together
This has been the busiest year I’ve had since I started creating content. There are so many things I want to do, and so many new opportunities too.Even though I’ve been so busy that I barely have time to rest, and there are definitely times when I just want to lie down and do absolutely nothing, thinking about how many people are supporting me always makes me want to try a little harder, so I will keep on going.
I only shared the details of this year’s birthday party on my Discord server.
I only get one birthday every year, and I'm glad to spend it with people that love me and have been caring for me so much.
So I only asked everyone to cover their own venue and food costs for the day. There was no other promotional or marketing purpose, and I also asked everyone not to bring gifts worth more than NT$1,000.
I just wanted to chat, play games together, and invite everyone to be part of my stream too. I thought it would be a fun way to celebrate and make some memories together.Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to come to my birthday party.Things were a little rushed this time, and I didn’t manage to finish everything I originally planned for the stream, but I hope everyone still had a good time.
Ever since I started creating content and streaming, there have been a lot of things I’ve wanted to say to everyone, both happy and difficult things. But I’ve always felt not everything needs to be explained. Sometimes I also kept thinking that maybe there would be a better time to talk about it, so a lot of those words were never really said.
I thought my birthday might be a good opportunity. It’s a day worth being happy about, but also a day that comes with a lot of emotions.
I’ve always thought of myself as simply someone who provides entertainment.I sell the things I create, and I also try to be there for people that need my emotional support.
That probably sounds a little cold, emotionless, and boring, but I’ve put a lot of genuine feelings into it.Sometimes I wonder what makes you want to stay. Is it the companionship, my work, or simply because you want to support me?Whatever the reason is, I’m grateful for it, and I keep all of you in my heart.
Every person’s support means a lot to me. To me, every dollar comes from someone’s time and hard work.
So beyond the support you already give me, I don’t want to ask for more money or gifts. Anything I want, or any equipment I need to upgrade for my work, I’ll buy and upgrade my work.Maybe that’s also why I almost never buy expensive luxury things for myself… except cute blind-box figures LOOOL
I also rarely use marketing tactics. I don’t have systems where people unlock rewards or actions by donating more, and I rarely do holiday discounts, scarcity marketing, things like that.
What I would rather do is keep improving the quality and amount of my work, keep streaming consistently, and give people something that actually feels worthwhile.Because I don’t want people to support me because of those kinds of conditions or psychological pressure.
【 I hope everything I create and everything I put into it can stay true to myself, and that everyone who supports me can feel that it was worth it. 】
That has always been something I’ve tried to work toward. I just don’t want to become so busy one day that I stop having time for the things I originally cared about the most.
Lately though, I feel like maybe I’ve been trying a little too hard.
It’s not because I feel tired. It’s because I’ve realized that I have less and less time to actually talk to everyone and spend time together.
Over these past few years, a lot of new people have joined. That makes me happy. Really, really happy.Every time I write down a new name, remember a new voice, or get to know someone new, it gives me so much energy. But along the way, there have also been a lot of goodbyes.
Event after event, gathering after gathering, some familiar faces slowly stopped appearing. There used to be a few people who were always in the group photos at events, and there used to be a regular group of people I played games with on Discord. Looking back now, I realize that group has changed too.
New people keep joining, but whenever we take that big group photo at the end of an event, I still end up with a lot of mixed feelings.
I know people come and go. That’s normal, and there doesn’t always need to be a reason. If there’s somewhere in life that someone feels they should go, or somewhere they feel they need to leave, that can be a good thing too.
I really have become busier, and there’s less and less time for us to just spend together.Sometimes it’s only after someone stops showing up that I realize the things I wanted to say to them might never get said anymore.
So there are a few things I want to say.
If you’re still here with me — 【 Thank you for choosing to support me. I’ll keep trying to make every bit of that support feel worthwhile. 】
If you’ve already left but somehow ended up reading this — 【 Thank you for everything along the way. I’m not saying this because I want you to come back. I just hope the time we spent together was a good memory for you too, and I hope every goodbye, whether temporary or forever, can still carry some understanding, gratitude, and good wishes with it. 】
If you were once part of this journey with me — 【 Thank you for being there. I really did treasure it, even if you may never know that. I hope you’re happy! 】
Late at night, I still sometimes wonder if there were things I could have done better, and sometimes I still doubt myself. But little by little, I’ve also learned that everyone has their own life and their own direction.
There’s a time for meeting people, and there’s a time for leaving too. It doesn’t always mean someone did something wrong.I think that’s probably a lesson I’ll have to keep relearning.
A new year of my life is starting.
I hope everyone can find a place where they feel comfortable being themselves, and I hope that no matter how many storms you face, how much joy or sadness you feel, or how many different flavors life gives you,
When you eventually look back on it all, you can still feel that you have no regrets, and that it was all worth it.
