Grief Bundle (Patreon)
Content
Hello everyone, it's been a while and I hope you're doing well! Upload info first and then some real life related stuff for everyone wondering what's going on.
You can find a new link for September 2026 in your DMs, containing two projects with my OC ghost named "Griefmother". Probably one of my favourite illustrations with quite a few minor variants, so go ahead and dig into it to find the option that satisfies your preferences the most! The first folder has only the classic choices between the veins and milk, and the second one comes with a clothless option and without the spectral outline.
For the real life stuff.. It's going to be a big and heavy one as I would like to give you a full spectrum of the situation, especially if some of you I have known for a couple years now.
Every time I had to disappear for a while, was to visit my parents, and you should especially do that when your middle-aged father is battling cancer for six years, and the distance isn't making things easier, because phonecalls aren't enough. It was manageable, but this winter, my best friend, my grandmother, was put in a wheelchair, so now I was split between two places far apart and bound to my hometown with a frustrating job. Yet still. It was manageable.
Through spring, their conditions got worse, and busy season at work began with my boss constantly absent for holidays, with their duties dropped on me. I couldn't handle it anymore and quit in May. Despite my income receiving a big cut, I felt motivated to focus on Patreon, and lack of shackles allowed me to travel freely between people I loved. Little I knew that happiness won't last for long, as days before catching a train to visit my dad, my grandmother suddenly passed away. We bury her a day before my birthday that we always celebrated together.
On the same afternoon as funeral ends I travel to my dad. Two nights later I find him on the floor close to death but he regains stability within next days in a hospital. Week or so later, I gotta go back home, because my family begins renovations in grandma's house and I have to overseer everything, from making plans, finding materials, to managing workers. Things are delayed due to roach infestations and other unearthed problems with the house. At that point I'm already living off the savings.
Fast forward to the end of August, my dad has near death experience again and ends up with a pipe in his throat to breath, so the only communication is writing or reading from his lips. Last week we got a chance to say how much we love each other and couple nights ago he passed away. So I'm leaving again for a third funeral this year, and this is going to be the toughest one to face. I lost someone in January, and then two people very close to my heart in a span of three months. However, no matter what's tossed my way, I'll keep going and never give up, just like my dad taught me to.
Thank you if you made it to the end, I'll try to upload new stuff as soon as I can.
