This coming from the same person who made “I don’t like shit…” and “Solace” is unbelievable and really beautiful. As I’ve grown to not really find that stuff relatable (currently) I’m glad he has also grown and can make music about appreciating life

Great stuff. I've been loving this album - as with all of Earl's short projects over the years, it's a great one to throw on 2-3 times in a row and just soak in. It's nice to hear him doing this very abstract style without the depression of past albums. On some songs (the first one especially) it feels like I can hear the laughter in his voice, it's really charming - he sounds happy and like he's having fun with it.

you guys should check Westside Gunn's new album Heels Have Eyes its pretty nice

Dude. That Dave Chappelle, Purple Rain/Reign, Future bar blew my mind. Damn that was a fire catch Archie. Also watching this video was only my second listen & it’s amazing how much more I caught. I feel like I needa return back to this again already. So many clever bars & lyrics. Such a good reaction. It was fun watching you guys start off lost & then slowly find your way to connections.

Been listening to earl since the beginning and used to his style over the years, great to see this album grew on you over the listen. Def took me a 2nd listen to grasp and appreciate and now I listen to it every day like appointment television like I did with Some Rap Songs (patiently waiting for this album review and rest of earl catalog lol)

One thing i think about alot is when turning the tables did a listen of madvillainy, the dad compared Dooms flow to that of a drummer who will fill certain pockets of the beat or can syncopate along it. Earl having a similar flow in the beginning of his career but now has grown into a sound of his own I accustomed to it a jazz singer/player. He will change his flow and sometimes it drags, sometimes it feels rushed, but for most part will be on track with the beat but never stays the same throughout the album. It's similar to Madvillany or SRS as the songs can feel short and segmented by themselves, but come together well as a whole sound/album

When he says something easier to digest and understand keep in mind his voice is clearer and less muffled in the mix. You notice it in this album but you’ll start to notice when you listen to Some Rap Songs. It’s like he’s mixing it on purpose when something is clearer then you’ll hear it clearer and if his thoughts are scattered then the vocals are also scattered in the mix.
