right when i was about to eat🙌

Sean888

Very nostalgic and actually pretty groundbreaking album. The entire sad boy/ emo rap genre coincided with a pseudo-melancholy culture that got stale kinda quickly and still is a meme to this day. Regardless there’s some really good ideas on here and it would’ve been cool to see what he grew into as an artist

Zefir

o ma god, this is the one

Lucas

Yall need to do life’s a trip by trippie redd ngl

Lonzo

We gotta get xxx’s “?” Has more variety of sounds on it. Great reaction though

hugh jass

17 by X , Goodbye & Good Riddance by Juice WRLD, COWYS by Lil Peep were HUGE in 2017-18

Sean888

Slight correction, his follow up album “?” Is the most streamed rap album. Some massive hits on there

Atari

i've cried to this album so many times i hate that we always lose talented artists so often, thanks for the reaction. Anyways Day 2 of Requesting "Avant Nova" Ep by Slayr🫡

klairvoyage

Them Shiloh Dynasty chops went triple platinum in this household

Fab Dellz

The artist that’s sampled throughout is Shiloh Dynasty, a really mysterious youtube figure, who would post clips singing, usually in black and white/face covered. Love their sound. This album really helped me expand my musical taste. I was pretty obsessed with rap, the old school type and when I heard this, I couldn’t help be astounded by the diversity in his sound.

r

This album still dark and depressing as ever but definitely a staple of that time. ''?'' is the only other album he released (the one with SAD! and Infinity 888) and is what truly showed his potential as an artist. definitely worth a listen.

f11

yes, my bad lol

Jay hero

You just had to be there😭 ,the rap scene at that time was just amazing and the lore between artist around that time was so deep

Jason Mojica

this album carried me through some tough times lol.. forever a classic for me. Check out “?” by him, it gives us a picture of how talented and open minded he was. It’s such a shame he was taken from us early. Also, Molly would love MOTM 2 by Kid Cudi, please react to it soon 😭 that album helped so many people, including myself

loadingsina

"?" is also a great & generational album, you have to do it, it has more variety between depressing songs and aggressive songs

StarzInDaSkyz

It's funny, today it is the 9th anniversary of this EP. I will always remember hearing this project for the first time. I fell in love with this. At this time XXXTENTACION just released one of the most influential "rap emo" album for the new gen of the rap game. It was pretty different and shocking just like when Kanye released "808s & Heartbreak" back in time. Still one of my favorite projext all time but since X died it's been really really hard to listen to this EP and any X songs. You guys should react to his next project and first album "?"

Horizon

Second this. I don’t think they liked dark knight dummo too much, but I think they’d enjoy the rest of the album for sure

Moonz

Been waiting for this for soo long

jordyjs

the “revenge” ep would be a nice quick reaction if you want more of a look at me kinda vibe, its a bunch of songs he compiled together that were released on soundcloud with a bunch of different sounds.

olsen

kings of convenience mentioned hahaha what the fuck 🇳🇴 reppin

Benjamin

Ey! Love from Norway and for Kings of Convenience <3 Great album this. R.I.P. X

Benjamin

Ey! I know lol

Gussy

I’m surprised you guys haven’t done any lil peep he’s like the big one you guys are missing from this era

Gussy

Lil peep is like the king of emo-trap (however u wanna call it )till this day

JaiOfficial

The most astounding part of this reaction is seeing that you guys are new to Shiloh Dynasty, that's the lofi GOAT 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹

JaiOfficial

I bought my first mic at Guitar Center, the cashier asked what I made, I said rap and we exchanged what rappers we liked, he was really into X and $uicideboys etc... I legit checked my phone to see if there was maybe an upcoming project from X, and saw that within the hr X had been reported as shot. I showed the cashier and he broke down at the counter. Could never forget that moment

Carlos

Life’s a trip by trippie redd!

Alexander Renteria

So crazy the duality of X. U have melodic beautiful emotional songs like these and on the other end there’s shit like yung bratz, take a step back, what in the xxxtarnation, and gospel where he’s fully screaming at the mic saying crazy shit like shooting ppls parents n fucking mothers n sisters and other funny ass out of pocket bars. I don’t wanna spoil it for when u guys react to ? But his first bar in his verse on $$$ gonna make yall laugh mid listen😭 Not a lot of artists that can do both rlly good.

Braylen

Yall have to do ? Too

Mercurial

Great video! Btw guys, do Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay, it’s such a 10/10 album

f11

lol i love kings of convenience. there was also a time i was listening to all of erlend oye's solo stuff

joeoles
