Hey lads!

Some things to consider before you play the tech demo of Unaware in The City 2: Revisited:

This is a very, very early tech demo, available to all Patreon/SubscribeStar tiers, but I’d appreciate it if you didn’t share it, as I don’t want random people to see the current state of the game and get the wrong idea.

A lot of stuff is still unfinished or bugged. I'd need more time to fix everything, but in the meantime, I’d also end up adding even more unfinished and bugged features, because it’s always work, work, work... There’s just so much to be done.

There's a lot of content and features we’ve already started but haven’t added to the game yet, as they’re far from finished. I'd rather avoid showing them in their current state.

Even though the game is already pretty optimized (especially by demo standards), there are still memory leaks and room for further optimization, but I'll tackle that later this year.

Mac version currently isn't supported.

Android .apk is provided, but untested.

I aim to release something each month so you can see the game taking shape and the progress being made.

There are some glitches we haven’t fixed yet, also there are a lot of leftovers and unused stuff, like traits.

Some sliders have a very wide range, allowing you to create weird characters, but these will be adjusted for the final release.

There are only two variants for each face part right now, but we plan to have at least five or more for the initial release.

These customization options aren’t final. More will be added, and some may be removed.

Feel free to be as critical as you like! I want to improve the project and make it really shine!

The content included in this demo that's worth mentioning, though still in early development, features:

Character Creation: Female and male character customization. Note: The male character is NOT playable and will NOT be playable - this is just a demonstration of customization.

Train Intro: A short introduction scene set on a train.

Merged Locations: Jane's Home, Main Street, and Kevin's Diner.

Masturbation: Jane can masturbate on the toilet, in the shower, and on the bed (at Home).

NPC Interactions: Random NPCs may grope Jane if she gets too close (20-60% chance).

Diner: Cooking Mini-Game with some NPC interaction.

Yeah, it took longer than anticipated, but unfortunately, that's the nature of early development, as things constantly change, and sometimes features even get scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up. At this stage, delays are bound to happen, since a lot still needs to be done. Creating core features and mini-games is far more time-consuming than simply adding new events to an existing game. That said, I’ll still try to release something every month if possible. The next update is scheduled for mid-May, but if not, then expect it in mid-June.

All in all, I have to say I’m damn proud of what we’ve managed to achieve so far and how nicely everything is coming together. At the same time, I’m also a bit frustrated that I had to disable or lock so much content in this release due to it being unfinished or bugged, as I really wanted to give you something more playable. I’m truly sorry about that.

My ultimate goal is to have a polished and playable demo ready for Steam Next Fest in October 2025. So my mindset is more "we need to make it work before October" rather than "just make it work for the next update", which was kind of the approach with the old UiTC.

Don’t forget to leave your irreplaceable feedback - it really means a lot to me! And Happy Easter!

Cheers!

Mr. Unaware

EDIT: Android & Linux are up! Only the Windows version is temporarily available, as the Editor broke and corrupted some files while I was trying to build and upload the game using the old UiTC script (my bad). But no worries, nothing is lost, I’ve got a backup. It’ll just take "a few" hours to release the Linux & Android versions now. Sorry about that!

Thank you for your work I'm waiting for Android

2026-09-14 06:00 Yeah. I 1000% wasted my money buying a membership. Has not worked on my Mac, at all. Pateron should clearly advise when creators are not offering games available to specific PC systems. Good luck with the new game, Mr. Unaware.

Mr. Unaware

You have membership for 3 weeks, so no idea why you didn't contact me, if you had problems with running the game. Also, game requirements for old UiTC are provided on my Patreon, and there's even free public version to test. If you meant the new UiTC2 VERY EARLY TECH DEMO without any content, then it requires only $1.50 to try and Mac is CURRENTLY not supported, as I need to own Mac to release anything for it, so blame Apple. Anyway, refunded. Good luck.

Wowww.i be waiting for Android btw 🫠❤️

I luv u so much 🥹

Mr. Unaware

Well, that's not really how Patreon works. It's not a store, but a platform to support creators in whatever they're doing. Meanwhile, Apple tries to squeeze as much money as possible from everyone. To release UiTC2, I’d need to buy a Mac, register the game in their App Store, and pay an additional 30% fee. I also heard they wanted to block downloads and installations from unauthorized sources to squeeze even more money. So unfortunately, there's not much a solo dev like me, or even Patreon as an intermediary, can do about their behavior. Sorry :/ If Apple's policy doesn't fuck me up, then UiTC2 will be available on Mac on Steam release. Cheers!

Please add an easy option to get normal skin color, the default looks werid and trying to get any normal skin color is very hard. Maybe add a few preset options? white, brown, black?

Mr. Unaware

Well, if the default color looks weird, then why would you expect my predefined presets not to feel weird too? :P Anyway, presets will be added after I remake the character creation screen, so it looks more like the one shown in the last devlog. Cheers!

Steffen Mathiesen

I had no such problems at all in the "original" game, in this version default looks much werider to me and trying to match a common human skincolor is oddly hard with the slider and really dont feel like learning RGB or anything like that to get human skin colors on my char :D

Mr. Unaware

No worries, I was just joking :P Anyway, there are some shader issues we still need to work out (like pretty much everything else, since it’s still an early release), but sooner or later we’ll get it done ^^

Steffen Mathiesen

thats nice, i remember seeing early previews that looked really nice so was a little letdown when i started the char creator here. looking forward to a more finished game ;)

Mr. Unaware

It’s a perfect example of “fix one thing, break three others” :P There’s no point in trying to "finish" any features at this stage of development, because they’ll likely break multiple times. For example, we don’t even know what additional skin or body features we might add, and when we do, we’ll have to rework the shaders again. But the closer we get to October’s demo release, the more we’ll focus on making everything work properly. Right now, it’s a lot of experimenting and implementing new features, without needing to worry too much about things like players getting stuck or save files becoming incompatible. Personally, I can’t wait to see the game take shape and get more fleshed out too ^^
