Hey lads!

Some things to consider before you play the tech demo of Unaware in The City 2: Revisited:

This is a very, very early tech demo, available to all Patreon/SubscribeStar tiers, but I’d appreciate it if you didn’t share it, as I don’t want random people to see the current state of the game and get the wrong idea.

A lot of stuff is still unfinished or bugged. I'd need more time to fix everything, but in the meantime, I’d also end up adding even more unfinished and bugged features, because it’s always work, work, work... There’s just so much to be done.

There's a lot of content and features we’ve already started but haven’t added to the game yet, as they’re far from finished. I'd rather avoid showing them in their current state.

Even though the game is already pretty optimized (especially by demo standards), there are still memory leaks and room for further optimization, but I'll further tackle that later this year.

Mac version is finally supported, although with a workaround.

Android .apk is provided, but untested, as game was only tested on Windows.

I can't promise monthly updates of UiTC2:R, as my goal is to have some playable demo not later than in February 2026. You can see the game taking shape and the progress being made via monthly devlogs and sneakpeaks on Discord/Twitter.

There are some glitches we haven’t fixed yet, also there are a lot of leftovers and unused stuff.

Some sliders have a very wide range, allowing you to create weird characters, but these will be adjusted for the final release.

There are only two variants for each face part right now, but we plan to have at least five or more for the initial release.

These customization options aren’t final. More will be added, and some may be removed.

Actually, nothing here is final, as everything is a subject to change, so your feedback really matters.

Feel free to be as critical as you like! I want to improve the project and make it really shine!

The content included in this demo that's worth mentioning, though still in early development, features:

Character Creation: Female and male character customization. Note: The male character is NOT playable and will NOT be playable - this is just a demonstration of customization.

Train Intro: A short introduction scene set on a train.

Merged Locations: Jane's Home, Main Street, and Kevin's Diner.

Masturbation: Jane can masturbate on the toilet, in the shower, and on the bed (at Home).

NPC Interactions: Random NPCs may grope Jane if she gets too close.

Diner: Cooking Mini-Game with some NPC interaction.

Bonus Features: Seduction Mini-Game (unfinished), undressing, trading, and more.

Let's briefly summarize the work on UiTC2:R done since the last version was released in April, so around 3 months ago:

Animation code rewritten, because we needed a different workflow.

Pathfinding, obstacle avoidance, and correct up-and-down movements.

Initial support for isometric backgrounds.

Female and male back views.

Improved character customization.

Inventory database (player + NPCs).

Trading and inventory system.

3 arrow mini-games.

Skill check system.

Multiple new animations.

Skirt support.

Screen fades and loading bars.

Main menu and game settings.

Stats support and stat window.

Groping improvements.

Seduction system.

Desire system.

Chat bubbles and floating text (synced across multiple systems).

Undressing and dressing up, with rolled-up/down clothes.

Kevin groping and abilities.

More refined diner mini-games.

New music and sound effects.

Improved game intro.

Many, many bug fixes, optimizations, and QoL changes.

And shitloads of other stuff not in the game yet, like world lore, containers, dialogues, events, quests, flavor text, etc.

And other stuff I forgot to mention or that wasn't worth mentioning at all.

I also released v44 for the old UiTC in the meantime.

Let's not forget about all kinds of problems, like getting hospitalized recently, being a father of 2 kids, and it being summer time.

I wanted to do more, but looking back at the work done in around 3 months, I guess I can't whine.

Yeah, it took longer than anticipated, but unfortunately, that's the nature of early development: things constantly change, and sometimes features even get scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up. At this stage, delays are bound to happen, since a lot still needs to be done. Creating core features and mini-games is far more time-consuming than simply adding new events to an existing game.

My next major goal is changing the game from side view to isometric view, and I'm going to start breaking everything tomorrow. I expect the next UiTC2:R tech demo to be released around October 2025, with a working isometric view already. Although I'll be pretty busy in October, as I'm moving to a new place, so it could get further delayed until November.

Anyway, my ultimate goal is to have a polished and playable demo ready for Steam Next Fest in February 2026. Yeah, it got postponed from October 2025 because we decided to go for isometric view, and to make it work, we need those extra few months. My mindset is more "we need to make it work before Public Demo" rather than "just make it work for the next update next month", which was kind of the approach with the old UiTC.

Don’t forget to leave your irreplaceable feedback, as it really means a lot to me!

Cheers!

Thank you very much for your attention.

On mobile I had issues with the screen size hiding texts, and on a device with a notch some options are hard to use in the Character creation. When I tried to adjust the resolution everything because super small and pushed in the top left so now I can't change anything.

Mr. Unaware

I'm aware of the issues on Android, but currently I'm mainly focused on PC version. But I'll try to fix those issues on Android in November's release. Cheers!
