Changelog - UiTC2:R v2026.08.23 (Patreon)
Content
v2026.08.23 (August 23rd, 2026)
GENERAL:
Added a loading screen, so Android no longer gets stuck on a black screen indefinitely.
Added multiple transitions (main menu, new game, exit game, load game, and game over).
Rewrote all tips, as they were outdated.
Removed the ability to change camera modes, as it caused too much confusion.
Added the three camera views from the masturbation mini-game to the Break Free mini-game.
Primary Needs buffs now require the proper source. Well Rested no longer comes from naps, and rain, sinks, or coffee no longer count as washing, drinking, or eating.
BUG FIXES:
Fixed multiple bugs.
Fixed Mac and Linux builds not starting after extracting the archive.
Fixed the FPS limit being ignored.
Fixed many settings not being saved between sessions.
Fixed the Continue button missing from the main menu.
Fixed the Pee and Pregnancy toggles not hiding their respective stats.
Fixed sleeping. It now properly uses the wait window.
Fixed followers spawning inside walls after changing locations.
Fixed Wetness and Dirt being applied to both characters in 2P animations.
ANDROID:
Fixed multiple UI display issues. Text and windows were too small and could get cut off on phones.
Font scaling now applies to the entire interface and can be increased up to 250% in the settings.
Reduced background art size and texture memory usage, which also shortens loading times.
Tooltips now open with a tap and close with a second tap.
Perk, trait, and skill descriptions in character creation now remain on screen after tapping instead of disappearing when you lift your finger.
Dialogue Skip now toggles with a tap on touch devices, since holding a finger down was awkward. Mouse controls still use hold.
Fixed action wheel options overlapping each other's tap areas. Tapping one option could previously trigger the option above it.
v2026.08.20 (August 20th, 2026)
GENERAL:
Over 2 months of work. A lot of changes, tweaks, and fixes across the board. Only the notable ones (that I didn't forget to list) are included below.
The amount of dialogue in the game has more than doubled, but most of it isn't accessible yet.
Very important thing to note: the changes below are in the game, but that doesn't mean they all work properly. Some might work perfectly fine, while others might break the moment you try them. I didn't have time to verify and fix everything, so I know it's a bugfest. This is primarily a showcase of the progress I've made, with the goal of having a playable demo ready for Christmas.
BUG FIXES:
Fixed many bugs and issues across the game. I'll list a few of the ones that gave me a real headache to fix.
Fixed skirts breaking when changing shirts, dark-dyed clothes looking stained, pixelated hair edges, and the under-breast shadow showing through clothing.
Fixed the side-view face customization slider (missing faces are a different issue).
Fixed lips freezing and facial expressions getting stuck.
Fixed cops following Jane forever without ever arresting her.
Fixed NPCs with frozen legs, street NPCs walking at half speed, and stale or invisible NPCs.
Fixed the follow camera drifting up and down depending on where Jane stood in a room, as well as dead zoom in some small rooms.
Fixed hotkeys triggering while typing into text fields.
And much, much more...
MAJOR FEATURES:
Added Weather: rain, storms, snow, blizzards, fog, and temperature, with a 48-hour forecast accessible from the HUD clock. Storms bring thunder and wind that moves hair and skirts. Rain soaks clothes over time.
Added Diseases: Jane can catch colds, flu, STDs, and more.
Added Drinking: alcohol builds up Drunkenness (Tipsy, Drunk, Wasted), slurs Jane's speech, and too much eventually ends in a blackout. Hangovers follow.
Added Home Upgrades: renovate the flat room by room. Doesn't affect the art yet.
Added Flatmates: pin an ad on the Main Street notice board and greet candidates Ben or Rick at your door. No content for them yet.
Added Tasks: random people all over The City offer jobs, from simple errands to very shady work. Higher tiers unlock as you prove yourself.
Added random Events across the world, plus an Event Tracker window (Y) showing what can happen and when. Experimental and WIP.
Added Dates: invite someone who likes you enough to a date at the diner. Albert and Kevin are currently supported, but it's still very early WIP.
Added multiple new locations, like Downtown, Old Town, Park, Red Light District, and Slums, as well as various shops and services. All of them are currently placeholders with no content.
Added Gifts: factions that like Jane send someone over with a present every few days.
Added Shops: Sally's supermarket, Betty's clothes shop, and the Shady Dealer restock on their own schedules, have their own prices, and only buy what they deal in.
Added opening hours: shops and venues now close, and if Jane is still inside, the owner kicks her out.
Added Cooking at home: a few recipes that scale with the Cooking skill, with ingredients sold at the supermarket.
Added breakable appliances at home. Broken furniture can be repaired by phone: call Albert, your flatmate Ben, or a pricey repair service.
Added ground loot all over The City. It appears as Jane walks around, so keep your eyes open. Perception helps.
Added hidden perks: some perks unlock secretly through your actions.
STORY & DIALOGUE:
Ported and rewrote a large batch of events from the previous game (UiTC), but they aren't scripted and can't be triggered yet.
Added Cain's Archive library books: nine in-world texts about The City, its history, and its rules to help you understand the new world a little better.
Dialogue choices can now open sub-option cards (resisting, showering, cooking) with costs, odds, and effects shown up front.
THE DINER:
Improved cooking: place ingredients with a preview, live budget and score readouts, undo, and a skip cooking option for the impatient.
Clients now roll traits (Patient, Impatient, Gourmet, and more), and female customers are properly handled.
Added dozens of random counter events across positive, neutral, negative, and NSFW pools.
Added a once-per-day break: walk around the diner, with longer breaks unlocked at higher ranks, then return to work.
Kevin's coffee can now be spiked with items from your inventory, with consequences.
Serving clients well or badly now affects your standing with their class.
HOME & DAILY LIFE:
The sofa and TV are now usable: sit, watch TV, or watch something else entirely.
Pass time by playing games on your phone or watching TV, with relaxing, competitive, and adult modes.
Taking a shower can be enhanced by consumables like soap or shampoo, each with its own effect.
Added a Safe Box at home and in the bunker: a private stash that never gets raided or restocked. Unlimited space.
TRESPASSING & LAW:
While trespassing, everyone who can spot Jane shows a sight cone on the ground. Sneaking and darkness help.
Any NPC who notices Jane trespassing can call the cops. Getting caught costs reputation with them and their faction.
Cops now play hide and seek: they follow Jane through doors, guess which room she ran to, sweep the building, and call in backup at high Crime.
Lockpicking can be witnessed: bystanders may report it, call the cops, or take advantage of the situation.
SHOPS & ECONOMY:
Trading with a shopkeeper slowly earns their affinity.
Trade window: live offer totals with a verdict (even, ahead, short) and One, Half, and All quantity buttons.
Items are sorted into families (Food, Hygiene, Adult, Tool, Valuable, Quest, and more). Keys and quest items can no longer be sold.
New items: shampoo, bottled water, cooking ingredients, dye kits, vinyl skirts, etc.
MINI-GAMES:
Reworked the bubbles skill check: 9 bubble types, combos, slow motion, sounds, and health that scales with Jane's stats.
Restyled lockpicking: multi-level locks, pick stress, normal and super picks, a luck gamble, and a full sound set.
Break Free: 5 special abilities on keys 1–5 (Kick, Wriggle, Scream, Focus, Go Limp), a Dodge toggle for agile characters, and the arrow count now depends on who is holding you.
Masturbation: both hands controlled separately, clothes adjusted mid-session, close-up cameras, a second pose, desire hints as a hidden perk, and far more desire lines.
ART & ANIMATION:
Added whole-face expressions: over 30 new facial expressions for women and 10 for men, plus a proper climax face (with an Ahegao toggle in Settings).
Added procedural dirt stains on characters (with a visibility setting).
Added wet clothes visuals (with a visibility setting).
Added or updated many animations: eating, drinking, smoking, new idles, modesty covers, sit and stand transitions, several duo scenes, and smoother transitions between them.
Characters now dissolve in and out when they spawn, despawn, or teleport instead of popping in and out.
Walls and furniture that hide Jane now fade automatically, with a see-through circle around her.
Added multiple local lights: ceiling lights indoors and street lights that switch on at night.
Swapped old 3D Blender furniture models with AI-generated ones. No more Project Zomboid jokes, so I'm bracing myself for the incoming AI-slop jokes! AI art is temporary, BTW.
Sex sounds and moans are now synced to the animations.
NPCs now smoke, snack, and drink on the streets depending on who they are.
Improved character shaders.
CHARACTER CREATION:
Added face detail pickers for brows, eyes, and mouth, plus an Eyes Over Hairs option.
Added body proportion sliders with per-slider locks and full randomization.
Live height, weight, and measurements update as you adjust the body (also shown in the Stats window and when inspecting people).
Added a Moan Type slider with a test button.
Added male facial hair (stubble and beard), which random NPCs can roll.
Kyle the hairdresser can now change Jane's appearance.
Difficulty now lists what it affects and affects even more stuff.
NPCs:
Unique NPCs now have free time and visit public places instead of only following fixed schedules.
People on the streets now spawn out of sight and walk in instead of popping up at the edges.
NPCs interrupted by events return to what they were doing afterward.
Fetishes are now split into a body part and an act. Matching them makes sex acts easier and more rewarding.
Your reputation now affects how individual people feel about you, while affinity and hostility push against each other.
GAMEPLAY & SYSTEMS:
Desires (wants and fears) now show on the HUD and in a Stats tab, with limited rerolls.
A portion of earned Perk EXP now carries over into future playthroughs, scaled by difficulty.
Dodge now comes from Agility but only works when Jane actively uses it (Slip Away, diner charges, Break Free), so being too powerful doesn't prevent you from seeing scenes.
Added Afterglow: climaxing leaves a lingering debuff that scales with Corruption, preventing multiple climaxes within a short period.
Improved keyboard movement (WASD) alongside mouse and touch.
Gaining or losing effects now shows a short notification, also logged in the Message Log.
Dye system improved: every garment keeps its original colors for free, dye presets are saved with each save slot, and the dye editor previews colors live on Jane.
Added almost 100 gameplay tips shown on the pause menu, wait window, and travel map.
Improved the Containers UI. Containers now allow you to store items, double-click to transfer, use a quantity popup, and more.
SAVING, LOADING & SETTINGS:
Saving is now limited to safe places (like home) and blocked while someone follows you or you're trespassing.
Added auto-saves (5 rotating slots) when entering a safe place and after important scenes (like the introduction).
Save files are compressed, and much more data is now saved: buffs, inventory, appearance, clothes, containers, unique NPC stats, desires, addictions, and more.
Settings: added a search bar and new options (Wall Cutout Circle, Wet Clothes Visuals, Character Dirt, Eyes Over Hairs, Ahegao Face, and more).
UI & HUD:
Redesigned the HUD top bar: cleaner clock cluster with weather, readable stats, and collapsible sections.
All windows now fade and pop or slide in and out, with open, close, click, and toggle sounds.
Added a software cursor with a click animation.
Dialogue window: on-screen Next, Skip, Hide, and Transparency buttons (touch-friendly), skill check odds shown directly on choices, clear requirement labels, and hotkey tooltips.
Stats window: birthday and zodiac sign, blood type, measurements, hidden perk teasers, and a cheat section with stat locks.
Inventory: rotate the character preview. Items show their type, value, and alcohol strength.
Redesigned the interaction wheel with quick actions, hotkey hints, and direct Quests, Events, and Map buttons.
Restyled the world map. You can now pick your arrival point when traveling to places you've discovered.
Improved the Message Log window.
Added many new tutorial popups.
ANDROID:
Multiple improvements.
MODDING:
Added NPC appearance modding: the game creates a Modding/NPCs folder next to the executable with a text file for each unique NPC and random NPC type.
