Progress Report #116 - Merry Christmas! (Patreon)

Hey lads!

I want to be brief, since I'm crunching like crazy to deliver v33 before Christmas, and I already know that I won't make it in time, so I'll be cutting some features (temporary). You can partially blame my kidney stones (they always know when to strike), but mostly enormous amount of work in this update. Don't know which of the planned features will make it to the v33 in the end, but I'll release what I already have and is working, and then the rest in v33a, v33b etc. in January. Anyway, in v33 you can expect some new sex scenes, new waitress outfit, weekly buffs (inspired by Heroes of Might & Magic, but all have positive effects) and some pregnancy (this one is the most troublesome, there won't be hospital in this update for sure), and maybe something more. Doing & testing everything at the same time, and I have no clue what will break during the final testing phase. Also, I really need a break, so once v33 is released, I won't work until January 1st.

I've made a poll about pregnancy setup, whether you want to know about Jane getting pregnant instantly or after a delay, and it went pretty even (with a small advantage of people wanting it as a surprise). Thus I decided to make it as a surprise as a core gameplay (after 3 days), but you will have multiple ways to get to know instantly - via cheat (EX version), a cheap trait (2 TP cost) or by buying & using pregnancy test (but not in the open dialogue). In the future I'll also add an optional optional animation of Jane getting pregnant (something a bit similar to the one from Summertime Saga).

If someone doesn't want to support me monthly via Patreon/SubscribeStar, but only once, there's currently a Winter Sale being held on itch.io where you can buy permanent EX version (although one version behind Patreon/SubscribeStar) a bit cheaper than normally.

And lastly, as a rule, I release public version together with the new paid version, so still 24+ hours more, but since it's Christmas time - v32c BA is out now for everyone for free. Enjoy!

i know the preg feature is definitely a new mechanic being added is alot so i dont want to rush you on this one rather suggest you fine tune it so it gets the most quality over time :) i dont know how Indepth you can go but seeing you add stages in pregnancy over the course of playthrough can be a great way to keep playing as that is what i find the most entertaining in a h game. overall nice to see that being added and i dont mind you coming back to that every so often in getting that fine tuned to match others pref or play style thank you and keep up the great work lol

That new waitress outfit is great! Take a break, man. You deserve it. Don't stress yourself with those self-imposed deadlines. Happy holidays!

If this is a bit futuristic game then you should an artificial incubator incase you don't want to carry the embryo and optional adoption. What are the benefits of this game mechanic? If you have offspring that costs more per month.

Game's year is 2020. Incubators aren't really planned and I doubt I would have time to script something like that any moment soon, as workload only increases.

You know how I work - if I don't have a hard deadline, I will most likely stray from the path and you won't see monthly updates, as I will work on all kinds of features instead of focusing on finishing an update :P And I also find it unfair for monthly paying patrons when they don't get anything in return. Cheers!

I already know that pregnancy feature is too big to fit it into a monthly update, so rest of it will come in v34, but I'm not gonna leave you with some half-assed & broken content, thus v33 will be playable. And like with all of the content, I will come back to it from time to time to further expand and fine-tune it. Cheers!
