Honestly the reason for the cringe wars (that's what I'm referring to the breadtube stuff) & why everyone hates theater kids now was because of both Gamergate & Hollywood losing a massive chunk of public influence, the media went on a pr war against geeks & hobbyists around 2015 about. Now the thing about theater kids (especially influencers) is they view social media as a stepping stone to a job in Hollywood or media & are just desperately trying to justify liking things to their "future bosses"
