I really needed to redraw this scene ever since I saw it in the theater. Plus it was actually really fun trying to replicate the anime. It’s not gonna be a one for one because I suck at imitating style and stuff BUT it rly was fun to try something new :3

Anyway I love Marcello’s face here idk why but it registers as “almost giving up” and ykw? I think that’s truly what Laurentia brings out in him every time she’s around haha.
