Hello there! 👋

February has already begun, which means it's been almost a month since the release of version 0.2. That makes it the perfect time to start a new season of devlogs.

Let's pick up where version 0.2 left off. It's a great point in the story that gives me plenty of opportunities to move the plot forward, which... actually doesn't change much since I've known what comes next for a long time. So, without further ado, the second world our main cast will visit is a cyberpunk world.

The story in this world will last until about halfway through the new version. This time, unlike in the medieval world, you'll have a bit more influence on its future, but don't expect too much. That impact will likely come down to a single choice, whose consequences won't be immediately noticable. However, I plan to make it more significant at the game's ending, so you shouldn't just pick randomly. Don't worry, though - this time no one will die... probably.

What's beyond that?

Of course, there will be a few events in the main world, as well as side stories. After all, MC is still a student, so he has to go to school. Besides that, I've also planned another world(s?), but I'll share more in one of the next devlogs.

Current progress

Script:

Main story - about 40% complete. I'm currently writing the final scene for the cyberpunk world, which, as I mentioned, will wrap up around the halfway point of the update.

Side stories - haven't started yet, so nothing to say for now. At this point, they exist only as ideas in my head.

Renders - there are about 450 so far. This time, I've decided to make fewer, as the game size has been increasing rapidly. I'm trying to hold myself back, but it's goddamn hard.

Code - all renders have been coded, and currently there are about 1,600 lines.

Version 0.3 should be roughly the same length as 0.2, meaning development should take about the same amount of time. However, it’s still too early to say for sure. I’ll have a clearer estimate once the full script is finished.

Well, that’s all for today I think. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments or dm me.

Thank you for your support and for following this project. Take care, and see you next time!
