At the edge of the city, hidden among tangled weeds and forgotten paths, stood a crumbling chapel. Its walls, once white, were now cloaked in moss and shadow. Shattered pews lay strewn across the dusty floor, and the altar was nothing more than splintered wood.

Sunlight pierced through the gaping holes in the roof, casting beams onto three figures within: a young priestess and the two knights who stood watch over her. None of them knew they had been followed. From the moment they left the road, three bandits had been tracking their every step.

And none of them could have foreseen that, before long, the chapel would echo not with prayer, but with the sound of blood being spilled.
