Yes, the team behind the Clone Wars realized very quickly their audience was more than just kids. The result was rather stunning: a series that handled intense, epic, and very adult themes in a way that a kid could still enjoy. Clone Wars has an insane body count. It deals with wartime corruption, untrustworthy government and military officials, work-life balance, jealousy, the cost of command and of military service. And it fills out so many gaps in characterization between Episodes II and III for Anakin, Padmé, Obi-Wan, the Jedi in general, and Chancellor Palpatine. I'm so glad you're watching this series. It's great TV for a Star Wars fan. I look forward to seeing your reaction to future seasons.

Ah Cad Bane, one of the best characters in Clone Wars. He's so cool. He's a Bith, one of the Aliens we saw in the Cantina in A New Hope. I believe he was partially inspired by Lee Van Cleef from the Sergio Leone Spaghetti Westerns AKA the Dollars Trilogy. Fitting since Boba was partially inspired by Clint Eastwood, particularly in The Man With No Name. He's voiced by Corey Burton, who also voices Dooku. Man's got range. His Techno Service Droid, Todo 360, is voiced by Seth Green. I gotta say I really enjoyed rewatching Season 1 and really look forward to your thoughts on Season 2.
