The prime minister did seem shady. It would have been funny if was Satine who was the traitor 🤣. I was thinking of comnneting on how nice the bond you and Charolette have and then she bit you🤣🤣. Thanks for the cozy Star Wars times

Nice episode :) I'm glad those episodes are uploaded more frequently, it's such a treat every time to hear your analyses, I love it!

The plot points and dialogue in this episode are SO formulaic. But, I mean, the classics are classics for a reason. The connection to real life issues is, however, why I love the prequel era so much. Corruption and the citizenry's responsibility to root it out and check it? All too relevant. They don't often touch on the really boring ways authority will often try to stop this from happening, though. Easy entertainment for the masses as a distraction. Then devalue science and healthcare and nationalize religion (connect religion and religious exercise to the government so it is unpious and illegal to criticize the leadership). Censor dissenting voices. Pick fights with someone outside so the citizens aren't focused on internal problems. Then, what do you know, but your representative government is completely hollow and meaningless and your citizens no longer care that they're oppressed. I wish I had the energy to be a Padmé Amidala or a Bail Organa against the current chaos. But I am so tired. On a funner note, there are theories about Korkie, Satine's "nephew." Satine only has one canonical sibling we know about, younger than she is. Obi-Wan and Satine knew each other best and were in closest contact around the same time Korkie's parents had to be involved in the first act of parenting. Satine would've been a teenager at the time, and Mandalorians are conservative. They also adopt family members all the time, and Star Wars makes up new characters all the time to explore old plots and settings. I personally think Korkie is Satine's blood nephew by an unknown sibling or maybe a cousin once removed she calls her nephew, or else another member of her clan. But the theory is still a ton of fun.
