Quinlan Vos is an extremely interesting story. He is first seen in the background of Mos Espa in Episode I and he was given a larger role because he was a popular character in the Expanded Universe ( aka Legends). Lucas saw this and decided to make him a Jedi and he is a maverick within the Order and is known for his unorthodox approach and dry wit. He is mostly an undercover agent, which was why he was in Mos Espa.

I swear they did a Hutt version of "Anything goes", from The Temple of Doom, for this episode. Which was fun. Shame we don't see more of Quinlan.

This is a fun episode. But as much as I love Obi-Wan, this episode in particular makes me really wish one friend for him who he finds restful. The urbane, grumpy kitty cat manner he has with just about all his action buddies is genuinely hilarious, yet I wonder if he knows ANYONE who relaxes him to be around. Not Yoda or any of the Council; he has to be too perfect around them. Not Cody or any of the clones; he has to be their commander. He adores Anakin, but he's always so worried about him. Like, can Obi-Wan go on a mission with Dex from the diner? He's so exhausted all the time, I'm exhausted for him.

As a curiosity: Quinlan Vos was briefly mentioned in the Kenobi series (I THINK in episode 3 if I remember correctly) he survived Order 66 and apparently also pursued his own path after the Jedi purge. And as ANOTHER curiosity; Quinlan possesses the rare ability to sense the Echoes of the Force (also known as "Psychometry") just like Cal Kestis in Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor
