It's funny, when I've played as femshep who romances Garrus, I see Liara as more of a big sister whereas Tali is the little sister. That's just me personally

its a thing in Mass Effect 3, if you miss or can't find some important Item in a mission, it will be available for purchase in the spectre terminal

I was definitely waiting for this episode! You crying got me good. Watching you decide who to save was brutal. Grunt's loyalty to you in ME2 is actually what technically ensures he survives the rachni in this mission, so kudos!

The thing to remember about Liara is that she's basically a kid. When you first met her she was shy and awkward and really not used to being around other Asari, let alone alien species. She tells you nobody really took her work seriously because she's still a kid. She's, "Barely 100 years old," I think she said, and given that Asari live to 1000 years old she's kinda like a human 10-year old! Well, probably mid teens really, but still a kid. When Shepard swoops down from the sky because she needs Liara to basically help save the galaxy it's probably a million miles beyond the most exciting thing to happen to a socially awkward, shy, under-appreciated loner kid like Liara. Shepard's probably the most impressive person she ever met... and she needs Liara's help. You can't blame a hormonal hundred-year old for getting a little starry-eyed and swooning a bit every now and then lol I also think of her as more of a kid sister character, for the reasons above, and I feel closer to her than most other characters because of that. Just think, we've watched her grow up and find her confidence to go out into the galaxy and make her own place in it. Maybe other Asari still think of her as a kid, and she is still easily teased in an unguarded moment, but she's become a character I feel bizarrely proud of and she has probably achieved a lot more in her hundred-odd years than a lot of other we've met who are hundreds of years her senior. She's great but I don't mind when you give her grief lol. I will defend her sometimes, but I'm not worried about whether or not you like her. The way I see it we each have our own relationship with the characters. Your Liara is not my Liara, nor your Garrus mine (I wouldn't dare. I've seen you jealous before lol). There's a lot of crossover but the bit you're getting mad at is just part of your Liara... so that's really your own fault lol. I'm going to have to watch this other thing you mentioned, wherein you get defensive about Liara. I want to see if you came to understand and forgive some of the more aggressive defenders of Liara in your comments sections hahaha.
