We're embarking on a new Mass Effect adventure, into Andromeda space. GOING IN COMPLETELY BLIND! Mass Effect: Andromeda Blind Playthrough - Part 1 About MASS EFFECT ANDROMEDA: Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. The fourth major entry in the Mass Effect series, it was released in March 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The game is set within the Andromeda Galaxy during the 29th century, where humanity is planning to populate new home worlds as part of a strategy called the Andromeda Initiative. The player assumes the role of either Scott or Sara Ryder, an inexperienced military recruit who joins the Initiative and wakes up in Andromeda following a 634-year sleeper ship journey. Events transpire that result in Ryder becoming humanity's Pathfinder, who is tasked with finding a new home world for humanity while also dealing with an antagonistic alien species known as the Kett, and uncovering the secrets of a mysterious synthetic intelligence species known as the Remnant. I'm glad you're giving a Mass effect Andromeda a chance.. little fun fact that when you're choosing a name for your protagonist.. people in your crew and other NCP characters are going to Ryder.. now let's say that you decided to that you're not going to change the name and leave it as Sara Ryder. Then you're crew and other characters will sometimes call you Sara because that's is the original name.. for the male Ryder. His name Scott.

One more thing Kim this just a very little piece of advice... Do not look at Mass effect Andromeda as a whole new Mass effect game.. look at it as a huge DLC for Mass effect 3.. The rest of the Mass effect games set a huge standard and very high expectations. That it was going to be a huge disappointment regardless. So just curve your expectations a little bit and I would think you like the game more than you expect.. I look very forward to watching you play Mass effect Andromeda... This game is very massive and it has a lot of side missions..

I do think you will enjoy this game once you figure out the combat a bit more and discover all the stuff that can be scanned sometimes you have to be real close to something to scan it. There is no med pacs in this game your health is like the ammo boxes but they are red and blue instead of yellow and blue. You just walk up to them to heal same with replenishing ammo. One last tip i will give you is that you can Jump then dash to zoom around a bit. A lot of the questions you have will be answered as you play the game some will not be answered though you kinda have to discover them. I also can already hear the screams of the YT comment section about the stuff you missed. Forgetting its your first playthrough and a blind one at that just ignore them and have fun playing the way you want. Oh and yes the game does adjust Alec Ryder to how you create your Character and your Twin. So that is why he looks like your character a bit. Its a nice touch i feel.

I dont remember if the game tells you this Kim. BUT when the Andromeda Initiative left earth and begun its over 600 year long travel through deep space, it was around the time that Shepard had become a spectre and was chasing Saren and tried to find the conduit and try and discover who or what the Reapers were or if they even existed. So the people in Andromeda have no idea how their old home and galaxies was attacked and invaded a few years later after they left their homes and families behind. There is A LOT!!! of easter eggs hidden in this game that makes call backs to the original trilogy, i wont tell you what they are or who they are specifically, but there is a lot of characters in Andromeda who were friends or in families with a lot of the characters from the original trilogy look out for them and see if you can discover them. ;)
