If you dont spend 2 hours in Character Creation in Balders Gate 3 then i think you are doing it wrong lol. Also I do hope that Balanced was the right difficulty cause you are new to the turned based hardish combat where everything matters in a fight like movement what enemies and spells or attacks you do. Also if your attacks and stuff you want to do actually lands or misses. Balanced turned me off from the game when it was in Early access personally cause it felt too tough cause i didnt understand the mechanics of fighting. The couple tips i will give you is save often dont just let the game do to for you. Sometimes the auto save will save after 15 mins sometimes 45 or over an hour and if you die it goes to your last autosave. So Save often. Also i know this is a hard thing for you but you will not be able to do everything on your first playthrough since a lot of things are dice rolls as you already saw with the brain thing at the start. So to do everything will prolly take a few playthroughs. I have already finished the game and i watched a couple of other people play and they had a totally different direction of what i did and how the story played out. Other than that enjoy the game and hope that combat doesnt totally destroy now your done with the tutorial part.
