It’s a battle radio so it wouldn’t seem out of place in their disguises and they didn’t expect the Imperial comms guy to actually be doing his job by scrolling through all the frequencies because he was more concerned about losing comms than anyone else who just chalked it up to interference from the Eye

I think Skeen and Nemik are like Han Solo and Luke Skywalker if things just didn’t work out as well and Han didn’t have Chewie. Skeen is a self interested cynic and Nemik is a true believing optimist and they had true friendship, but in the end shit just went bad and Skeen just ended up trying to take advantage of a bad situation.
