The new XSound Plus 2 had got an update and app support since my first video a while back and I wanted to check if there were some improvements and if the new MaxSound classic EQ really sounds like the original speaker.

Here my own MaxSound Plus EQ settings to make them sound even closer:

The MaxSoundPlus was a gem (thanks, Oluv) released about five years ago. Two years later it was upgraded to include UBC-C charging and stereo pairing, giving an already exceptional speaker the potential to become an outstanding, ultra-portable, low-budget, mini stereo system. This would have been the natural ending for this story, but Tribit wants us to believe the MSP has aged out. Compared to what? It's not the Motion 300, but it's lighter. It's not the Minirig Mini, but it's cheaper. It doesn't have an app, but it doesn't need one. Please don't kill the MSP, give it it's flowers.
