Checking out the hyped JBL Clip 5 in real conditions and although it’s not bad it still sucks compared to most older and cheaper mini speakers. I will do a more detailed video soon.

The sound is swapped for left and right with me filmed frontally so that you can easier detect which speaker is playing, with the camera in first person view the sound is normal for left and right again.

I'm not surprised at all, jbl is playing catch up with speakers from almost a decade ago and asking double prices. That xsound go sounds good actually, i remember it from your old videos when you compared it to the clip 2, which was a real disaster

Tribit xsound go is still my bathroom speaker and because doesn't have that massive bass, it's sounding pretty good in that challenging acoustic room.

it is louder than tribit but still harsh and without any bass, they even claim that jbl go 4 have “deeper bass”

nice vid as always man, as expected this Clip 5 is a pretty big disappointment. Looks like the only good speakers from JBL this year are the Partyboxes 120 and 320... but yeah apart from those, the Go 4, Clip 5 and Xtreme 4 are disappointing, expecially on price/performance ratio.

The Micro 2 is a worthy buy for me as its much enjoyable listen less than 50% volume

Apple music without all this lags would be way better than it is right now... Unfortunately they don't care.

club 120 is also disappointing (for me) harsh and distorting

Domenico Pugliese

distorts tho? That's strange, very unusual for JBLs to distort
