Being a proud owner of the HD800S I think it’s the most disappointing headphone I own considering its price.

It's soo sharp and muddy at that same time

Richard

Which one?

Richard

The sennheiser sounds way broader and with bigger resolution but has muddy low-end bathtub kind of signature. The nh1 seems narrow and Nasal sounding in comparison though on my hrtf tuned nothing ear 3. You could maybe provide a original source sample in these comparisons too

EQ'd 800s would probably sound really great

Henk Scheerooren

I think it's the other way around. NH1 for the win here💪

Richard

upon further listening with my studio monitors i came to conclusion that the NH1 indeed is more neutral than the hd800.. but it lacks the wideness obviously, i mean it's a closed design vs open-design sooo many considerations have to be made still.. it doesn't sound that bad on second try on my iLoud MTM's

MMMM

So when will you release the NH1? Anytime soon?

MMMM

Listening more I think the high mids are a bit sharp in the NH1, can you make them sound a bit more smoother in that region?

I cannot promise it will be released at all. Will depend a lot on the costs

MMMM

I think if you get some reviews in from SOS and other sound magazines, and from nice YouTube people, it will far outweigh the costs once you sell them. I think you got quite a lovely sound going on, just that high mids is the only thing that bothers me, but it’s a solid sound nevertheless. I’m rooting for you. I’m thinking what to buy, I can wait for these, but I wonder how long. Ask them about QC, if you received one pair and it’s not working properly. That should have been done first before sending you a pair.

oluvsgadgets

I am not interested in any reviews. Those who are interested can maybe purchase it, and that was it. I won’t be able to produce more than 200.

To me the NH1 sounds better but to each their own.
