B&O Beoplay/Beosound A1 - after midnight listening session (Patreon)

In a longer listening session I wanted to analyse the sound of all 3 A1 generations together with you. In my opinion the 1st is still unmatched despite its flaws and the crappy battery life.

I hope it's clearly hearable which one is playing, I usually cycle through all 3 always starting with the 1st gen.

I also prepared some measurements done at the shown position.

Nearfield with the microphone around 15cm from the speakers we get these results:

At listening position which was about 1m the bass of the A1 1st gen increases even more:

Here the EQ used in this video, which in my opinion brings both 1st gen and 3rd gen a bit closer to each other:

The results of the EQ shown in purple, compared to optimal EQ in black and "gold" the 3rd gen:

Even with bass reduced the A1 1st gen still has more than 6dB response at 40hz than the 3rd gen, but after adjustment both sound a bit more similar, overall the 2nd generation somehow differs most but plays cleanest at the same time.
