Interesting at the end, probably configuration with tweeter and racetrack woofer in that test speaker. Nice that it's slightly smaller than the Uboom L but seems to have more potential... On the other note, I've been doing some tests between 048 and 949 on the Uboom X and I prefer the indoor mode on the 048, treble is smoother on my unit although there's more bass

Look, I have no hurry now. I really tried hard for the SpX-R and it failed, now I am just playing around and if I manage something decent it's ok, if not then no loss...

i noticed on 949 not only boomxxx is broken but also indoor+, there is some nasty compression in the highs on 949 already at 30-40% when the bass is present

I think I had fixed all issues for 999 which unfortunately Earfun didn't want to release

It sucks, mine has these problems as well on 949, I paid for a worse firmware as I use indoor+ and outdoor+ the most. I loved studio but was ok with leaving it for better other modes. Is the 048 from the earfun app the same as oluvs 048?

049 doesn't exist as far as I know, I think that after comparing everything back to back, 048 sounds better on average than 949 mainly in indoor mode but difference is not big. I'm so pissed that they didn't allow the 999 as that one sounded amazing in the videos here, especially against the bb3 wifi...
